The Restorative Cream Mask is the intensive contact step in the S.O.S system. Chemical and heat processing can leave the cuticle rough and the inner fiber less cohesive, so the mask combines hydrolyzed keratin with rich conditioning to improve the feel of both strength and flexibility. Its 7–10 minute contact time allows the formula to remain on the hair long enough to coat weakened areas thoroughly. The aim is a fiber that feels more elastic, smoother and less brittle rather than simply coated with temporary shine.
